Our Pond
Meat production
All our meat is fed on locally produced GM Free food. No routine antibiotics or hormones are used on our farm.
Fair Trade tea and coffee
We are now using Fair Trade Tea and Coffee. Fair Trade standard stipulate that traders must pay a price to producers that covers the costs of sustainable production and living. Employers must pay decent wages, provide good housing & working conditions. No child or forced labour can occur. For more info on Fair Trade visit www.fairtrade.org.uk .
Bio-Degradeable Packaging
All our packaging is either Bio-Dregradable or recyclable.
Cups
- These are currently 99% compost-able, but will be 100% by summer.
Chip Trays
- These are made from sugar cane, a waste product of the sugar industry whose fibrous content is used to make these trays.
Stirrers & Cutlery
- All our stirrers and cutlery are made from birch wood, which is a sustainable cultivated source.
Paper Plates
- These are made from recycled cups.
