Aberdeen Angus
The breed is generally black in colour and a cow averages 500kg. The Aberdeen Angus originated in Scotland but is now popular throughout the world. Our Aberdeen Angus meat is sourced from Graham Palmer from Smarden in Kent. The Aberdeen Angus name is now synonymous with quality, and the beef from Farmer Palmer certainly justifies this.
English Longhorn
This horned breed is a real success story. Once classified a rare breed, it is now regaining enough popularity to be classed as a minority breed. They are large, docile and hardy and produce excellent Beef with great marbling. They have different shaped horns, and come in many colour patterns. It is stunning to see a herd of Longhorns in the sunshine. All our Longhorn Beef comes from Terry Offen, of Hawkenbury, Kent. Terry comes from a long line of Farmers and is a great supporter of Rare Breeds, with Longhorns, Norfolk Horn sheep, Berkshire Pigs and Suffolk Horses. You are guaranteed quality meat from Terry and his family.
