Gloucester Old Spot
This is a great all round breed with beautiful pork and capable of producing top bacon. They are a white breed with black spots. Folklore has it that these spots were originally caused by falling apples (we're not convinced!). We keep a small herd of these with stock coming from Dave Overton and Carol Knights, two or the best herds in the country.
Berkshire Pigs
A breed perfect for producing top quality pork. In our opinion Berkshire Pork is second to none. These pigs are black with white points and are very easy to handle. Our present boar lays down to have his stomach rubbed, he absolutely loves fuss! We have a small herd of Berkshire pigs, mainly sourced from my friend and farming mentor, Terry Offen.
Saddlebacks
This pig, with its distinctive 'saddle', has recently received lots of coverage due to the TV programme 'Jimmy's Farm'! This breed will make great bacon and superb pork. We only have two Saddleback Sow's but will be increasing this herd in the future.
